| What is included?
All equipment is second user and is
electrically inspected and checked to manufacturer’s specifications by an independent
calibration house traceable to UK National Standards.
Certificates of Conformance will be
included free of charge.
We can arrange Certificates of Calibration
if required. There will be an additional charge for this work.
Manuals and all other standard accessories
will be included with the equipment that we supply.
The equipment is cleaned and/or refurbished
where necessary before despatch, so that the physical appearance is similar to the
original manufactured condition.
A warranty will be provided covering parts
and labour for all products sold with the exception of those sold "as is".

All equipment sold by GPTE International Ltd will conform
to the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336/EEC.
Delivery basis:
- for goods being delivered within the U.K., carriage will be free of charge to you. We
sell on a CPT UK Incoterms 2000 basis and will arrange and pay for Amtrak to deliver the
goods to your U.K. destination, so all you need to cover is the insurance of the goods
whilst in transit. We will advise you full details for your insurance purposes at the time
of despatch.
- for goods being delivered outside the U.K., we sell on an Ex-Works U.K. Incoterms 2000
basis. So all you need to do is to arrange for an international carrier to collect the
goods from our U.K. base with carriage and insurance for your account.

Warranty
Our warranty terms for General Purpose Test
Equipment (GPTE) are as follows:-
- A 1 year parts and labour warranty is supplied with all
products on orders with a total value of more than £500 (excl. VAT) which are delivered
within the U.K.
- A 90 day parts and labour warranty is supplied with all
products on orders with a total value of less than £500 (excl. VAT) which are delivered
within the U.K.
- A 90 day parts and labour warranty is supplied with all
products on orders with a total value of more than £500 (excl. VAT) which are delivered
within the European Union (E.U.) but outside of the U.K.
- A 30 day parts and labour warranty is supplied with all
products on orders with a total value of less than £500 (excl. VAT) delivered within the
European Union (E.U.) but outside the U.K.
- A 30 day parts and labour warranty is supplied with all
products on orders delivered outside the European Union.
In line with manufacturers, the following
are excluded from the warranty terms:-
Displays, attenuators, thermionic values,
TWT’s, backward wave & YIG oscillators, RF power elements, transport mechanisms,
Cesium & Rebidium tubes, software, cases, microphones, light wave sources,
transmission & receiving components, photo multipliers, tubes, probes, transducers and
tape heads.
Additionally, no warranty will apply to
goods sold in an "as is" condition.

Payment Terms
We can accept the following means of
payment for U.K. customers:-
- Cheque with order.
- Bankers draft with order
- Wire transfer with order. The customer accepts to pay all
their own bank charges when making wire transfers.
- 30 day credit terms. This facility is for regular customers
and is subject to prior approval by GPTE International Ltd
We can accept the following means of
payment for non-U.K. customers:-
- Wire transfer with order. The customer accepts to pay all
their own bank charges when making wire transfers.

Shipment
Typically all test equipment will be
despatched from our U.K. base within 10-14 days from receipt of your formal written order
(and cleared funds in respect of non-credit customers).
We want you to receive our test equipment
securely and to feel assured in dealing with us. To this end we use new double-ply
cardboard cartons, polystyrene chips and bubble-wrap for every shipment.
For goods being delivered within the U.K.,
carriage will be free of charge to you. We sell on a CPT UK Incoterms 2000 basis and will
arrange and pay for Amtrak to deliver the goods to your U.K. destination, so all you need
to cover is the insurance of the goods whilst in transit. We will advise you full details
for your insurance purposes at the time of despatch.
For goods being delivered outside the U.K.,
we sell on an Ex-Works U.K. Incoterms 2000 basis. So all you need to do is to arrange for

Prices
& Tax
Due to the nature of this business all
prices quoted in this website are for guidance only. Please contact us to obtain a firm
quotation from us valid for 30 days. All offers are subject to availability.
All prices quoted are excluding VAT at
17.5%, which is chargeable for all goods delivered within the U.K.
Goods delivered outside of the U.K., but
within the European Union (E.U.) will not be liable for VAT so long as the Buyer can
provide a valid VAT ID No.
Customers requiring delivery outside of the
E.U. will not be liable for VAT providing that the goods are exported from the E.U. and
documentary proof of export is provided. However, such customers may be liable for any
export and import duties that apply at the time of shipment.
